Hi
I really could use assistance finding information on my grandfather Charles Sumner Lett. He was either born in Ohio or Michigan in 1865.

He immigrated to Canada around 1910 from the US.

I have found him in the 1900 US census living with wife and three children; Stanly, Effie and Ella in Glaze, Miller, Missouri. His occupation listed as a farmer.

In the 1911 Canada census he is living @ 1 B Little in Edmonton, Alberta - appears to be a boarding house. Listed as married.

On May 19, 1928 he plead guilty to the charge of being then a man already married, did unlawfully marry and go through a form of marriage with another woman, to wit Jessie Brearley and did thereby commit bigamy. His daughter Ella filed the bigamy charges.

Charles died in November 1958 in Edmonton.

I have found his legal wife Emma and daughters Effie & Ella living as roomers in the Mary L Hutchins household in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1910 US Census.

I'd really like to find out more about the American family.

Thanks
Stephanie
