Thanks Pamela, the family knew it was sometime before kathleen was born, yet pop never talked about his first wife and my G, aunty is getting more curious about it as the years go by.

I really don't know as my great aunt Kathleen is the only surviving child of henry and gertrude.

I do know Kathleen was born in 1919 in England and my nanna and Douglas (their brother) was born in Australia

so probably sometime before 1919, i guess.

Hi, I'm hoping someone has information about my Great, Great Grandfather Herbert B Ashmore.

All the info i have is he married Elizabeth Greaves or Greves and they had 5 children one of them, Henry (harry) Ashmore who is my great grandfather born 26/01/1890

Henry made Gertrude Ann Douglas Ward born 08/02/1895.
i'm also at a dead end with gertrude parents.
