Hi there..My name is Yvonne May Barnett [ formely] Muddle. My father was George Leslie Muddle and my mother was Daphne May Doherty They were married on 9th May 1944 at Dungog N.S.W I was born on 18th October 1945 in Sydney N.S.W :-)

It is quite possible that Rodney is no longer active on site, or does not check his old threads


and GR does not send messages to say there have been new postings on threads


You would do much better to send him a pm (personal message with the information ........ just click on his name, then type your message in the box that appears. Then click Submit


GR will then send Rodney an email to let him know there is a message waiting onsite


Then all you have to do is hope that he still has the same email address that is on file with GR

Hi Rodney
Ref No:21171 Juanita Yvonne Muddle married 1954 Emmanuel Deguara in Sydney.? Have found in other search's middle name are often known by.

George Leslie Muddle who was born at Bendolba in Dungog registration district, New South Wales on 21 August 1921.

During the Second World War George, at the age of 21, was living at Bendolba when he enlisted in the Australian Army at Gympie in Queensland on 26 September 1942. He was Sapper NX149450 in the 2/14th Australian Infantry Battalion when he was discharged on 15 January 1946.

When he was about 23 years old, and still in the army, George married Daphne May Doherty, who was about 19, in Dungog registration district during 1944. They had one child born in about 1948. George died on the 13 December 1974, at the age of 53, and he was buried in Redbank Cemetery at Taree in New South Wales where his headstone describes him as the husband of Elsie.

I am trying to locate a cousin Yvonne Muddle c1948, the daughter of George Leslie Muddle and Daphne Dougherty of Dungog or Taree NSW, Australia . Her parents divorced around 1950.
