I suggest you get Daniel's birth cert as that will give his mother's name. Then you can look for his parents' marriage. Births Mar 1880 WHITE Daniel Alton 2c 173 Ozi. Update: Jane has as her place of birth Cliddesden, Basingstoke. In 1861 there are 2 Janes that would fit. Jane Alexander abt 1846 Cliddesden, Hampshire, England Servant Basingstoke Hampshire Jane Parris James, Sophia abt 1847 Cliddesden, Hampshire, England Daughter Cliddesden Hampshire Between 1861 & 1871 in Basingstoke reg'n district - There's a Jane Parris marrying in 1864 & in 1869, but no Frederick White. In 1864 there's a Henry White on the same page. In 1869 there is a George Witts on the same page & a Jane & George Witts turn up in 1891 census. None for a Jane Alexander.
