Looking for lost great grandmother

Hi, Im searching for my nans mother who left for reasons in 1948 her name was Sybil j Roberts, daughter to john Wen Roberts and Laura Ann Jones born in 1914 she married William Butt and had 2 children but left and was never seen again.
After 25 years of searching nan found a clue in 1997 in 1995 she had died at Podsmead Nursing Home.
However she changed her name after she had left to Sylvia Joan Burt and then married a man named Arthur Hoare in about 1950,
They had 2 girls apparently but we are not sure, I am trying to help nan find closure to what happened with her mother any help appreciated!
