If your local Records Office covers the area where this person died, then yes, they probably will have the local papers that would have covered it. Maybe the library will have them too, depends how big the library is. |

I would imagine that the reference library which is closest to the place of death would hold back copies of local newspapers from the time on microfilm. |

I have recently had the need to contact the local history society at the library. I looked at first on the net for the local authority in that area and the web page led me to details of what the main library in the area held and gave contact web address. |
