I'm not 100% sure it's her, but there is a strong possibitly, there is also a birth i found for the Henry also in St Saviour, have been trying to find him in the 1871, but couldn't see him.

Hopfully from Lydia's B/C armed with her Mums maiden name you can then look for their mariage.

There is no mention of a middle name for Lydia on her birth certificate.

So is the Lydia in the school my Lydia do you think?

Forget the Lydia Rebeckah Hill just found her on the 1891 and 1881 census parents George & Elizabeth

Inmate she could of lost both parents so like a home.

You do know there were 2 Lydia Hill for 1872

On your latest post she is down as an 'Inmate' - What does that mean?

That you will only know when you get her B/C, if the names ( Dads) don't match up.

I am going to order the birth certificate of Lydia Hill Apr-Jun 1872 St Saviour 1d 66.

Before I do this, will it show the names of both of her parents?
