hi trying to do tree as like all of u has any body got any info on the sedgwick family or stockdale family from hull and info great or small would help me loads thanks you for taking the time to read this

Have you tried checking the search facility to ascertain whether any other GR member is researching the same lines as you?

Hi Sarah, there is not much use putting a blanket request on here, have you tried the "trying to find" board?
You need to start from the beginning with FACTS that you are certain of ie, your parents marriage/births etc. Work backwards from there by getting birth/marriage certificates.
When you are back to 1901, you should be able to locate the families on the census.

my grandma was called norah sedgwick born 1910 and my grandfather was called leonard stockdale not sure of birth date poss 1907 i have not manage to locate him on any records yet. there are members who seem to come up with the same names as i do and i have contacted them but they have not replyed

Buy the birth certs...there is no other accurate way to proceed.
