Alfred Towers Weston was born in Leicester(shire) in around 1920, and had an elder sister named Gladys.

Alfred was my grandfather, Gladys my great aunt.

Unclear whether their birth surname was Towers or Weston, no information on father's name, or what happened to their mother. We believe their stepmother was called Annie (possibly Weston or Towers) and there is some suggestion within the family that their birth mother was also called Annie.

Alfred had four children after marrying Ruby Iris Bracey, Gladys married Jack Singleton and lived in Stockport before returning to Leicester following Jack's death.
