I can't find anything either. The only new info I have is that HJL died on 22/07/1951 aged 92 and EAL died on 22/03/1940

Did these events happen in the UK as can't see anything in the census or BMD. Can you elaborate on a few dates, the Langley/Langley marriage and the Langley/Elliott marriage.

Looking for my great grandfather Howard Johnathan Langley. DoB unknown but may be around 1850s. Married his cousin Elizabeth Annie Langley. Had son, Howard Courtney (my grandfather) DoB 04/11/1887, DoD 24/04/1959. Another son, details unknown, married Elliott and had 2 daughters. HJL may also have had a daughter Violet.

Some time back (I don't know when) the family came from Germany and changed their name from Lowenthal to Langley.

Any info gratefully received.

Thanks

Steve Langley
