ok i wasnt aware that those details would be on didnt give it a thought, i will call my aunt tonight and get the info , i know she has that as she took care of the funeral and all the arrangements. thanks guys for the info and help.

The birth cert would be of more use, as it would identify her mother

yes thats the exact death details for my gt gran, which at least now means we have a dob, thanks hun.

so i take it cenus records are not obtainable after 1901, which means i deffinately need marrige cert for parents details, cheers anyway.

Have you got their marriage certificate to give her age say who her father was and what his Occ was, it would help further the search

If you buy the marriage cert, it will tell you how old she said she was, plus the name and occupation of her father (if known)

She was probably born after the last available census, which is the 1901 edition.

Censuses are taken only every 10 years............

hi trying to trace my gt grandparents and am stuck on my gt grandmothers side as info is very limited, i have found out that she married my gramps 1928, henry j chowney to mary. k .coleman, and i have succesfully traced henrys family, but my gran is harder, siblings parnets etc, she came from surrey guildford, woking area lived in jacobs well surrey after my gramps passed 1978, but anything befor is scarce , any help would be great.
