I think he was born in Darlington around 1900. He was my Grandfather. Married Ethel Rose. Had 3 daughters. Inez (Bet), Hades(Bunty), and Olwen(DoDo) who is my mum. Unfortunately my mum has memory loss and can only remember things now and again. Ethel died 18 months after my mum was born. Her mother was Emma Rose and looked after the three girls. She was from Glasgow, Scotland. Looking for my grandfathers parents I think his father was from Suffolk. My great granfather also had other children Samuel, Walter,Martha, Eliza. These are names I've heard my mother talk about, I met Uncle Sam who was married to Bet. |
