Herbert/Bertie Sargent or Fildew-Sargent. He was born In Exeter Devon England in 1890 as herbert Fildew in 1901 he is with his mum and his dad (Who she has now married) as Bertie Sargent. However can find nothing of him after 1901-tried war records tried deaths and marrriages and not found anything yet! Could someone see if he's on a passenger list please?

Why not see if you can find him on findmypast.com
Passenger lists leaving UK 1890-1960.

If you can see some possibilities ask for a lookup, there are a lot of very helpful people on this board offering Findmypast Passenger help.

Hi

Another thought if he went to Canada or Australia, there is a good chance he would have enlisted in WW1. You could try searching for him on the following websites.

Hi I have found a Hurbert Sargent aged 11 sailing from London on the Principello on 24 Oct 1914 bound for Canada

There are loads more H Sargent's listed. What were the names of his parents - more chance of narrowing it down.
