I' don't know if you have the census info, but 2 George Badman are born the same year in Winterbourne.

I knew a good site for the local area (www.frenchaymuseumarchives.co.uk) which shows parish records for that area so had a look..

I noted the marriage of George Badman and Susan Brown Dando at All Saints Church, Winterbourne Down on 1st January 1864. He's listed as 21, she as 18. They've marked their names with a cross in the presence of Joseph Badman and Jane Brown Dando.

I then looked on the censuses and noticed that one of the George Dandos had a Father called Joseph, plus the other George is unmarried and living with his Mother still in 1871.

So here's who I believe to be your George in 1851:-

I looked on the frenchay archives site and noted George's christening at St Michael's Church Winterbourne on 15/5/1842, son of Joseph and Eliza Badman.

And some of George and Susan's children's christenings at All Saints Church, Winterbourne Down.

does anyone have any information on george badman from the winterbourne area in 1864 he was married to susan brown dando with 10 children.
