Hi Chris,

It is expensive...but thought I would let you know .
The only other way is to put another thread on GR asking if anyone is going to the LMA.

You never know..All the best.

Thanks Vera I have just had a look at that site and they want £35 per hour.
I am trying to do this as cheaply as possible. So any other suggestions I would be grateful.

Hi Chris,
These baptism entries are held in the London Metropolitan Archives...
www.cityoflondon.gov.uk..............family History Research Services.
Unfortunately you have to pay.

I hope this helps you.

James William Hollands m Emma Davies - Rotherhithe 1834
I am at a complete standstill for James William Hollands. Can anyone help me determine who his father was.
The only info I have is the above for the wedding.
As it is before 1837 I cannot get a cert with parents names on.
I have found two possible James Williams chr about 1812 in St Alfrege, Greenwich. One to James & Mary the other to John & Elizabeth. (I tend to believe it is John & Elizabeth)
William & Emmas children John Henry b1835, Sarah b1837, Matilda b1840, Emma b1843, James b1845, Alfred b1847, Eliza b1851, Frederick b1856.
From census returns I can work out that he was born around 1812.
(I was at one time hooked up to James William b1816 parents John & Elizabeth but this family moved to Gravesend)
Emmas parents were James & Sarah Davies.
I believe I need baptism or parish records to be able to find this out.
If anyone can help out there I would truly be grateful
Thanks for looking
Chris
