Trying to find relatives who still may be in Soctland. My Dad was born 13th January 1933 he was John Donald McColl, his father had the same name, my Nan was Bridget McColl (nee McGovern) and everyone called her Cissie. My Dad had three sisters Alice, Eileen and Maureen and I think at least two brothers, Gerry and Kenneth, Kenneth died very young. I think they left Scotland when my Dad was about 14 and moved to London. I know relatives in Scotland came to my Mam and Dad's Silver Wedding Anniversery. Alice married Sean O'Farrel, and Eileen and Maureen both married Americans and still live there. I am in touch with Maureen, she had two children Amber and Gerry. |
