I am trying to trace my maternal line and have found that James and Jane, my G-G-Grandfather and Grandmother, left Ireland for Liverpool in order to marry in the 1880s. She was from County Down/Antrim and he was from Cork. Their daughter Margaret was my G-Grandmother in Liverpool who married Joseph Turton and their daughter, Rose is my Grandmother. I am not sure how exact the name spelling is unfortunatley but think this is it. He was born in 1863 we believe. Any info would be very much appreciated. |
