The year is a bit out but could this be him:

LEES Alan John born 27 December 1940; Penelope Jane (nee Silver) born 8 July 1946; Bruce John born 27 August 1966; Colin Grant born 15 February 1969; travelled per AUSTRALIS departing Southampton on 18 November 1970 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme.

Looking for my cousin's (Jim Scambler) half brother Alan Lees. Born in England 1942 - mothers name Joan Miller - father's name may have been Douglas. Alan may be living in Australia.
