Hi Janice, Thank you....I have spent so long on these two, and was getting really disheartened. I was just about to take Sam's suggestion and trawl through the death indexes...that would have been sad, considering their age...William was my Dad who died in 1994, and last saw his daughter's when they were 5 & 6, so sad. But I have made it my mission to some day find them. Thanks again, really do appreciate the help. TJxx

Hi TJ

Marriage Elsie P Baldock to Ronald G EVENETT in Westminster March Quarter 1956.
Reference 5c 890

When cross referenced EVENETT came up as EVENELT so may be this is why you cannot find the children?
Mistranscribed Names often cause delays in finding family.

Hi Sam,
Yes I have searched the marriage indexes quarter by quarter for each year, that they could have feasibly married..Nothing!! I haven't checked whether they died. I will try that...I hope I don't find them there, I'd like to find them, but not there. Thanks for your suggestion.

Have you searched the marriage indexes, quarter by quarter for each year?

When you say you can't find any trace of them, where are you looking?

Have you checked the deaths in case they died young?

Here goes...
William Alfred Baldock married Elsie Priscilla Ellis 14/02/1948 had two girls Eileen Patricia 1948 & Valerie Ann 1949, they divorced abt 1955. I think Elsie goes on to marry a Ronald Evenett in 1956..but I can't find any trace of Eileen or Valerie. Looked under Baldock, Ellis & Evenett. They were living in the Tottenham/Edmonton/Enfield area of London. I know it's difficult because they would probably have married and changed their names...but I have searched under the three possibilites, but can't find any marriages...Where should I look now, has anyone any suggestions? Thanks. TJ
