USA census look up please

Hi,
Hoping someone can help me locate my grt grt grandfather George Donaldson born 1849 Edinburgh Scotland on 1930 Census.

In 1920 Census he was residing with his son-in-law William McCall, daughter Annie, and family in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. However by 1930 he is no longer residing with them, or any other family members.

I know he was alive in 1930 as I have recently found out he died in 1933.

I have scrolled through Ancestry using just about every variable but have found nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where was he when he died?

Hi Rose,

He died on 3rd Ocober 1933 and is buried in a family plot at Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills, Oakland County, Michigan. I have found the rest of the family still living in Detroit Wayne, Michigan 1930, but not old George.
