I know that my grandfather was born in Romford in 1877 and also married my grandmother, Tryphena Maria Card, in Romford in 1904, where they lived for a while in Waterloo Road. However, He passed away in 1950. I have looked on the Census's that apply to him and can find no trace. I know he was a Corporal in the Army at some time but not sure how to look up Military Records. My father told me he had aunts, named Maud ( she apparently had a 'Hotel' in Bishops Stortford) and Hart!! ( apparently she had Tea Rooms in Grantham Road, Manor Park) I also think there was a brother George. Has anyone out there got any of these names in their tree? |
