Hi. today I received my gran & grandads wedding cert. His name was William George Beasley and he was born in 1882. On it my grandad seemed to be lying about his age, was this common? He said he was 36 when in fact he was 42. He married mildred wilkins on 18/09/1924 in Bubbenhall, warwick. His fathers name is given as william david beasley and the only one I can find in records was born in bethnal green. Can anyone help me find another one or is this him? Anyone else got them in their tree? William george was born warwick |
