I can guess why he was a bit reticent about his roots........his birth was originally registered in OND 1941 under his mother's name............the 1947 entry is a re-registration (presumably after his parents got married) |

To find out about his antecedents, you need to start with his birth cert, which will have the full names of his parents. |

Hi all im new to this site and would like to find the family of my Grandad Dennis Newby who passed away 25/07/2005. Unfortunatley he did not give any information out about his family (not even names) for some reason and I would just like to know what they did and how far back I can go back not sure at all where to start. |
