IGI has the birth of James Dunlop listed - its worth a look

Also the birth of Anne Kennedy is listed

hi maureen Ancestry 1851 cenusus has only one sarah listed no margaret and 2 grand children james dunlop and anne kennedy aged 3& 6 so i wonder if they had an older daughter or 2 as i'm pretty sure they arn't margarets and sarah seems too young to have both of them???

The IGI has her birth as OBrien

Really strange on the 1851 census as can find Charles and Jean(Jane) with a daughter Sarah that matches the 1841 BUT there is also another Sarah Obrien listed as a servant. Wonder if one of them should be Margaret.

Hi just found Margarets father death cert. using o'brien name,, and of course both him and his wife are irish, as was margarets husband,, I get less scottish and more irish with every new bit of my tree!!

maybe not such bad news! it is magaret's death cert that has him as a forester on her marriage one it says ag. lab , so still think its her

Charles age 7 appears on 1851 census as Charles O Bryan

Hi looking for 1841/51 census records for my gtx2 grandmother Margaret Bryon born c1832 kirkinner wigtownshire parents jane and Charles, charles was dead by 1857 when margaret married william potts, but jane was still alive then janes mn was kain/ cain/ kean depending on which certificate you look at!!
