Find Ancestors

hi i have looked every where for any info on these two people i know their son was called daniel cummings and that they lived in la moie cottage st brelade and daniel died in 1917, it is on the war graves commision i know he was buried at cerissy gaille cemetry but i am trying to find out how old rose and john were and where they were both born as i am researching my family tree and daniel is my great great grandfather any info would be much appreciated as i have hit a brick wall thanks

You're right Reg. I've just looked on CWGC and Daniel was 27yrs old when he died in 1915.

Maybe the Alice that I found could be right.

As far as I can see, nothing to say that the parents were in the CI........my interpretation is that the address is that of Daniel and Alice. Could easily be wrong!

I'd read that as Daniel and Alice's address too.

There's nothing coming remotely close for Daniel and his parents John and Rose in CI. They're probably in England.

You need to obtain the marriage cert for Daniel and Alice...........it will tell you his father's occupation, and may help with locating the family on a census.

Hi Christina,

There's no marriage showing for them in England indexes. I'm not sure if Channel Isles indexes are seperate.

Hopefully someone else will know and be able to point you in the right direction.
