Please can someone lookup Samuel Henly b1900 possibly Cardiff, Possibly Bristol. I believe father's name was Joseph.

No births for that name on FreeBMD so I doubt there will be anything on the 1901 census.

Thanks for the info - i searched ancestry which appears to search both Henly (the spelling i have been given) and Henley so appologies for that - i didn't notice it had it different.

Just looking at the post from Glitter Baby & it has Bessie Tilke listed as daughter! Does this mean she is the daughter of Joseph?!?!?!

If anything, she's more likely to be the wife's daughter.........if she was Joseph's she'd have his name

Except if you look at the image she is clearly the lodger's daughter which is proved in 1891.
