1891 USA Census Help

Hi can anyone find a Hugh Leonard born Liverpool 1880 on the USA Census.. the only clue we have is Buffalo but which one.. we believe he was sent to USA as an Orphan, between 1881-1891.. |

Unfortunately there is no 1890 US census. It was destroyed. |

Hi Colette, I had a look on the Ellis Island site but could find nothing earlier than 1910 for Hugh Leonard. Also, there are a few remaining records for the 1890 census and you might be lucky enough to find him there. If you have Ancestry UK, just scroll to the bottom of your home page and in tiny print at the bottom, there is a link to the US site. |
