Hi all

As most of the board regulars will know i have been looking for my mother in laws relatives as a special christmas gift to her. I have the guy all ready to draw her tree up for her as her gift and im on the last leg of my journey now trying to find the last of her relatives.

If anyone could help me with any final details of the following members i would gratefulyl appreciate it (fyi i am still online hunting through scotlands people but i never know if im looking at the right stuff!)

The remaining members i have to find are

Parents of Ann Anderson born 1850 (approx). Ann married a William Graham in Mach 1872.

Parents of an Ann Laing but ihave little details on her daughter Helen Robertson born 30 dec 1847. Ann husband was called John Robertson.

Parents of John Robertson (see Ann Laings details)

Parents of Isabel Foulis. She marreid a Henry Henderson and had a son called John Henderson who married helen Robertson. Johns birth was 1846.

Also - Parents of Henry hendrson (see Isabels details)

Also i am seeking details on William Graham's parents. William married Ann Anderson in 1872

I know not alot fo details but im hoping someone can help

forgot to add they were all born in scotland around the st andrews, fife area

any help greatfulyl appreciated

Hey there :)

if you get the marriage certs of the people who married after 1855 it will give you both sets of parents.

You should also be able to find the death certs of the women by searching for them with there maiden and married names.

Finding the wifes death certs will help to narrow down the death date of the husbands as they will either say married or widowed. Meaing that the husband will have died either before or after the wife.

If your still having problems with SP let us know, someone will be able to help :)

I hope these are of some help to you. It's a lovely idea getting the family tree done as a present and I'm sure your mum in law will be thrilled!
I noticed you were looking for a Christina on an earlier thread, daughter of Thomas and Helen I think. Anyway did you know Christina and Christian were one and the same name. You have a few Christians above.
