George Handley age 17 - coal miner is a boarder with the Holson family.

Thomas Holson and wife Nancy Holson, although I think this should be Hobson. They are living at Skelmanthorpe, Kirkburton, Huddersfield.

Not sure if it's the correct one, his occupation in 1871 was engine tenter, and his age was 26.

I realise ages can be wrong but occupation seems abit different doesn't it?

Sorry for the delay in replying, you have been busy Ozibird.

The last families you found certaily seem to be the correct ones as he did marry Sarah Elizabeth and also called his first son Joseph.

He wasn't with his family in 1881 he was in a convalescent home.

Have found a death Mar 1899 age 54 in Bradford also.

I'm hoping to come to Portugal one day. My mother lived there as a 3 year old in the early 1920s, & had an elder sister who died & is buried there.
