Hi - my 2xGt. Grandmother was Fanny Wilshire who was born 1825 in Amersham, Bucks. She married John Hawkes b c 1829 who was born Chesham Bucks where they lived after marrying. They put their names together and since then we have a family name of Hawkes-Wilshire. Fanny's father was John Wilshire who was a maltster in Amersham, Bucks He was born 23.12.1795. Her mother was Hannah Hazel b 1810. They had nine children of which Fanny was the eldest. I would love to know more about John and Hannah and their children. Is there anyone out there who can put me on the right road to find out who their parents were, and where they came from or what happened to Hannah's siblings. Any help anyone can give me would be very much appreciated.

Hannah's siblings were Mary b 1831, Sarah b 1826, Rebecca b 1835, John b 1836, Catharine b 1838, Emma b 1840, Ann b 1844 and Edward b 1848 who died at 14 days old.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards Rosalind
