I am trying to find my maternal grandparents. My great-grandfather was frederick Hines (c.1860) and his wife Mary Hennessey (born in Ireland c.1860) had six children: My grandfather, Gerald (unmarried) and sisters Alma (married Kenneth McDougall), Clarris, Ida (married Donald Eleazor) and Dorothy (married Collins). They were all believed to have been born in India in the 1880's. My mother (Florence) and her two brothers (Henry and William) are believed to have been orphaned in 1914 and they were adopted and raised by Alma and her husband who had no children of their own. I should be most grateful if anyone who knows about the family can help me with information. |
