I am trying to find relatives of Cornelius Beavis Durham who was a fairly well known miniature portrait painter in the 19 century. He married Mary Cuisset in 1836 and they had sons, Cornelius John, Edmund Cuisset, Francis Hine and George William. He had a sister/cousin Sophia Beck nee Durham and a cousin Martha Phillips nee Durham. His mother Ann Durham nee Morris owned a Boarding House bought when her husband Cornelius Durham died in in 1817. In the 1841 census Sophia Beck and her children were staying at her boarding house in Arundel Street, Westninster as was a John Durham aged 25. I do not know if John is a relative |
