Your best bet would be the local records office to where he served, in this case Ipswich. I do not think you will find anything like this online, and as far as I can tell you will not be able to see original documents but you can have a copy for which you will have to pay a fee. |

I am trying to find any information on my Gt Gt Grandfather William Adams B; 1843, in Badingham, Suffolk. He was a Policeman who served in Ipswich & Kirton. HE was married to a Mary Ann Leighton, B:1844 in Barsham, Suffolk. They married at Wangford, in 1870. They had 4 children William B: 1876, Louise B: 1871, Frederick B: 1878 and Charles B: 1880. ANy information would be grateful. Particularly where I can get his Police Records. |
