Thanks all

It's always great to set 'Fresh eyes' when you get stuck - Great to know he was a 'Bertie'. would like to know where he was in 1881, Perhaps someone was looking after then while his mother was working?

Thanks

Help - hope you all like a challange!

Trying to Track Bertie Clarke bn in Leamingtom 1873, I do not know what Bertie stood for as his wife just refered to as 'Bertie'. I can only find him on the 1881 and 1901 census - can anyone find anything else out who has more experiance then me?

Record found on 1891 census of Bertie T Clark, born in Lemington, in Lodgings at 54 Shrubland St, Leamington, and working as a General Labourer. Also staying there was a Mary A Clarke, a charwomen born in London in 1847 who I am presuming was a relative, probably his Mother.

1901 census shows the familiy living at 19 Gate Place, Sandy Lane, Birmingham, with his wife Emlily and 3 young children Bertie Thomas age 3, Ellen Louise age 2 and Elsie May 8 months old (my Mum in law remembers his wife and can verifiy the childrens name so I know I am on the right track her) especially with the Leamington Connection

Here's hoping
