Hi..Im trying to find out if any of the following have married..They seem to have disappeared from the GRO lists and im hoping they are my siblings

Stephen Michael Jones L/Q 1972 Surrey S.E. (mmn Byrne) V.5g p.887


Michelle Diane Jones F/Q 1973 Surrey Mid Est (mmn Byrne) V.56 p.65

Claire Louise Jones 2/Q 1976 (mmn Bryne) Surrey S.E. V.17 p.110


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what GRO lists do you mean? - sorry, dont follow- can you explain

Sorry im not sure which records either as this infomation was given to me by a 3rd party but im told they have disappeared out of the GRO records..

Sorry to confuse but im new to all this....

Im looking to find my father and have been doing searches on children born to mothers maiden name of Byrne (his wife) and ive come up with a few names but these three i want to eliminate or contact before i move on to the next lot of names..

If anyone can point me in the right direction i would be sooo gratefull...Im 36 yrs old and for the last 10yrs have been thinking about trying to find my Father,I have now come to a point in my life where i feel i need to find/meet/chat to him..I have spent hrs walking round the area he came from and after speaking to some or the "older" folks around have found out quite alot of info on him and his brother,have visted the graves of his parents and found my fathers birth and marriage certs but i just cant find him or any relations..Its like they have vanished in thin air and its so frustrating to say the least..I know my father had at a daughter older than me and have been told he had a couple more by 1977.?..I know the names of both his wives and have his parents details but cant cant find anything on him or his other children...If anyone could offer any help advice or just point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it...
As a human being dont you think we all have a right to know where we come from..

His details are...
Martin Thomas Jones..Born Welwyn Herts in nov 1944 to parents Haold george Edward and Mary Winifred Eileen Jones nee Westwood.(his mother died 11 days after his birth),brother is Christopher Harold Jones born Feb 1940 in Wheathampstead Herts..
Martin and Christopher both lived in Welwyn herts at least 30 yrs ago..

Ok, not sure where o whoever gave you the info about the GRO registers.
people normally only appear in them on three occasions
1) when they are born
2) whe they marry
3) when they die.

If you are born in jan 1970, that is when you will appear - you dont then appear in jan every year afterwards.

in order to establish if htose are your siblings you will need to send for their bith certificates.

Hi all and thank you for replying to me....I think the guy who gave me the info was giving me their birth dates...Do you know if i can apply to get their birth certificates without a full date of birth?,as i only know the month and yr and not the actual date...

Ultimately i am trying to make contact with these three people who fingers crossed are my half brother/sisters who ive never met so any help will be greatly appreciated....
