Member Since: September 2007 Posts: 4 Send Message	Trying to find Grt Grandfather: Thomas James Anderson & Grt Grandmother. Rose McBride Although I know he married Mary Watson (born Davidson) in Glasgow in 1897 and moved to Campbeltown around 1900, I can't find his birth, or his parents' marriage registered so it could be Ireland or England. Any siblings are likely to have James as a middle name too (like a surname) His father is listed as being a Compositor (foreman) on the marriage register. John James & Mary had (at least) the following children. All of them, I believe, had "James" as a middle name like a surname (even the girls) Rose 1897-1917 Mary 1901(married Mr Barker) John 1899 (emigrated to USA) - married Belinda Thomas 1902-1903 Robert 1905 (married Claira) William 1907(married Marian Matheson - had 3 children) Catherine 1910(my grandmother) Elizabeth 1908(married Mr Hutchison) Thomas 1914 married twice Lucy 1917(married Jim McGuigan sp?)
