Yes he married a Sarah Ann Proctor who was born c1852. They had 6 children Dermy, Maud, Richard, Mary, George and Thomas - born in the Hull area.

No, I'm not saying that........I've posted a possible census entry..................and can't see any other which looks remotely like his name, but you will have to check by obtaining certs...........

The 1851 image is clearly Jeremiah.....but there is no other obvious match anywhere

The birth cert would be the way to go..........the census records the mother as being a Mariner's wife........
