Have be in search of my grandfather's relatives, Sameul Chappels born 30 Sepember 1882 at Poulton. His father was also called Samuel and mother, Esther formerly White.

My grandfather was with the Black Watch Regiment that went to India during the East India Company period and was eventually demobbed and settled in Calcutta. He married a French girl, Constance Nina Blacquiere. They had four children, William, Joyce, Dennis and Noel, all deceased now. I am the youngest daughter of William. Trying to trace any relatives of my grandfather, Samuel Chappels. He had a brother, but not sure of his name. Anyone out there knows anything about Samuel Chappels, his relatives or any information at all, please respond to this message. I am hoping against hope.
