Hi Bethany

It may be a mistake - but it's more likely that the mother of the child was unmarried.

(Or - possible - the mother and the father both had the same surname when they married - cousins or coincidence.)

The only way to find out is to purchase birth cert.

No Michelle's mother's maiden name would be Whisby.
Perhaps cousins married....or her mother was unmarried.
She is unlikely to be Anita's child.

Hello. I've been looking for the children of William Whisby and Anita Dow. I've found three so far, Judith 1951, Arthur 1955 and Kezia 1960. All three were born in Haverfordwest. I since found A Michele S Whisby born in Haverfordwest in 1965 Oct - Dec, but under the mother's maiden name collumn it says Whisby. Is this a mistake and could it be one of Anita Dow's children? Any help appreciated.
Thank you.
