Anyhelp please locating the birth of Bertram Hill, born about 1893.

I thought the uncommon first name would make it easier, but i can't find him anywhere.

Thanks,
Andy

On his wedding certificate he was said to be from Wednesfield, staffordshire. Perhaps the dudley one is him?

Where he married is not really an indicator of where he was born.

Does the marriage cert give a name for the father and his occupation?

Does the additional info from the wedding certificate help?

Many thanks Pamela, this surely must be him - I don't think I've ever come across the name Bertram before so the odds are stacked in favour of this being him.

Going back to the births you found, would you say the Dudley one was him?

Thanks,
andy

Have nothing to go on to know if the Dudley one IS him or not, but with that info you can order the birth certificate from the GRO site for £7. If the parents match with the census you've got the birth! But do you really need it now you have the census?

I like completeness so would like to know the full date of birth.

Thanks for all your help on this one Pam.
