Find Ancestors

Trying to find out what happened to a few relatives so was hoping someone could lookup 1851 & 1861 census data to tell me who was living with William Maynard (b1845, Menheniot Cornwall). He is listed as being in Liskeard in both census indexes.

In 1861 he is in the Wadham? House Academy, Church Street South. with lots of other boarders.

Added: The family were farmers so not sure they would have had the money for a boarding scool

Thanks very much - that then opens up the question of what happened to Francis. I can't seem to find him on the 1871 index (this was the reason i wanted a search on William!!)

Penreath is the name of the farm that they owned.

I wonder if i might ask one more favour. A 1861 search on the father - Henry Maynard b1818 in Menheniot.
