I have been to Family Records Office today and still not found all I wanted to ! Could someone look up Louisa Rawlings b. 1879 Shorditch and husband Alfred Rawlings b. 1879 West Ham. I think in 1901 they may be in Bromley ? |

I think thats just a case of the clerk striking through her age and it cant be read properly on the census image. It certainly looks like 22 to me. Though Alfreds does look like 25. |

Does the address match to a childs birth cert? There are a few Alfreds still living with parents who match fairly well. But was he married to her by the 1901? In which case this is the only match. |

I am not looking for their children. Louisa is my Gt grandfather's sister. I am actualy looking for George Mayson (brother of both) and born in 1888. Thier father George Mayson b.1853 has dissapeared between 1891 and 1901. Their mother ( as Glitter Babe found for me) was in a lunaytic asylum in 1901. |

Diane, Thanks for that I have had the problem of the way Ma(y)son was spelt throughout the generations. In late 1700's was spelt MASON amd then on MAYSON. Ny great grandfather was born MAYSON and died MASON. My main concern was where was this person in 1901 !!!! |
