My knowledge of Lancashire isnt too good, but having Googled, the will, if any, will be at Lancashire Records Office. |

For 1809, it depends where the will was proved. If PCC it will be on the documentsonline site - £3-50 to download, if there is anything! If they lived in the Midlands or North of England, the will could be elsewhere. If you can give details, might be able to suggest where. |

1878 and 1905 are available at First Avenue House in Holborn London for viewing. Big registers by year the grant was issued, the cost is £5.00 and all you have to wait is an hour - assuming you find what you want. |
