MY Thomas father was called Thomas and mother Elizabeth BUT I think this family might be related.

This family although the right names the place is wrong also the father of my Thomas was a brushmaker then bootmaker, but who knows, maybe they did do a bit of looking after a lodging house, I really dont know how I can find that out.

The 1891c I'm almost 99% its them, but the 1891c lodging house I have my doubts as although right names of parents the place is wrong as they have always been around the Shoreditch area.

My Thomas is the 2nd part of June's reply in1901c, well 99%.
The Graves family seem to have lived in the Hoxton, Shoreditch area only.

The Thomas who married Elizabeth Rainbird is 100% as its on his birth certificate but she is only down as Elizabeth Rainbird even on her marriage certificate with no second name thats why I'm not sure about the ones that come up in 1891c because I have a feeling she didn't stay around long after they got married, just a hunch don't ask me why.

I think I'm going to have an early night now, its nothing for me to stay up till 2 and get nowhere.
I would really love to find my Thomas between his birth in June1886 and the 1901c where he turns up with his father but no mother about.
I have also to find out about his life in the riffle brigade when [as the story goes] he joined up at an early age and was pensioned out towards the end of the WW1. At some time back then he was awarded the DCM. I have no pension or army numbers....so...
I'm shutting the computer of now.
