Desperately seeking any descendents from Heinrich Otto Fritz Matthias Fricke who married in 1922 Margarete Piepenbring born 1900, in Pretzien near Magdeburg Germany. Both lived in Magdeburg and Wolfsburg (maybe) at one time.
One of Heinrich's sons was Heinz Gustav Heinrich Fricke born in Mageburg Germany in 1928. Heinz lived in Wolfsburg and then in Bad Zwischenahn where he died in 2006. I believe Heinz Fricke had children from his second marriage who are my half sibblings. Can anyone please help me to locate any Frickes from this family. Thank you. I live in the UK.

Gabriele

There is no need to put you e.mail addy on here.

If someone wants to contact you ,all they need do is click on your name.GR takes care of the rest.

You should remove it.

And on this one I'll disagree, Gerri!

An *anonymous* email address like that one is a good thing to put in messages like this -- except I'd do it as

myfakename at webmail dot com

to avoid spam.

I have loads of anonymous Gmail accounts that I use for public consumption on the net, and for signing up at places likely to generate spam.

This way, if one doesn't renew one's GR subscription, someone who runs across the message later can still contact the poster.

Now everybody run to www.gmail.com and get an account there. Or a dozen. You can even do things like

yourname dot genealogy at gmail dot com
your dot name dot family at gmail dot com

and so on.

It will be soooo much better than hotmail or yahoo. Trust me!

Hello Kathryn,
Now that is very good advice. As I dont sign up to a lot to things on the net I havent had that much spam but for future events, thank you. And yes, if I am no longer subscriber, how would someone contact me in the future.... a very good point and is very much appreciated. However I took my address off now... maybe I add it later :-)) again.

Well that's your *good* address. ;)

Once you get a bunch of throwaways, you can put one back in.

The problem then is that you gotta remember to check all those accounts every week or so ...

Next tip: use the same password for all of 'em!
