Hi,

Don't even know where to start...

My Grandfather was in the army during WW2 here is what i know:

John Harrison 1928-1993c Married to Beatrice Ada Leaming 1931-2001 on the 21st May 1949 all in Hull

I know he was based in Palestine and Valetta in Malta and he had received a medal but this was never found when he died.

I Don't know any particular date of when he may of been serving but it was ww2.

I would like to find out to get a copy of his medal and find out what he got it for. Also i can then look at what his time was like during his post.

I really hope someone out there can help?

Michael

Try this link via National Archives

I've found several records through here.
