Hi Janet, the towns all came under the Skipton registration district, records are now held at Bradford.

Hi can anyone help please. I am trying to order a birth cert for a David Pickles b abt (1939). On the census records he is down as being born in Gisburn Yorkshire, Barnoldswick Yorkshire also Skipton Yorkshire. Does anyone know were he would have been registered as there are 7 David Pickles born around this time and in Yorkshire. His parents were James and Sarah and by the 1851 census they had moved to Haughton, Lancashire.
