Mabel Caroline Beckett birth Sep 1893 Kensington Volume 1a page 157.

There is a Mabel Beckett c1894 on the 1901 census in Kensington with her father William R a Carman.

This looks like Mabel's marriage:

Spouse's Surname: Choulee
District: Reading (1837-1974)
County: Berkshire

Page: 1106

"Choulee" rather than Choules -- but no, actually, the image is very blurry, but looking at other "s"s on the page, I'd read that as Choules.

... Yes, duh, Charles himself is transcribed correctly:

That would get you her father's name!

I have a mabel beckett on my tree but seem to have hit a brick wall.Mabel married John Choules in approx 1915-16.I have been told by the family that Mabel ran away after having her children and left them all in the care of their father.The last child was born 1929 so if anyone knows the wherebouts of mabel after that i would be very greatfull to hear from you.I also need help finding Mabels parents possibly William Beckett?
