Firstly, I must thank Lyndsay for her help in finding the Collinges/Finnigans for me, I am now awaiting a copy of their marriage certificate.

I hope somebody can help me with this one. I am looking for a death record for my great grandfather Lawrence Wilson.

He was born in Kettlesing in Yorkshire in 1885. He married Edith Davies in 1911 in Manchester (he was a publisher, according to his marriage certificate) and went on to have 5 children all born and lived in Manchester (the last child was born in 1918). The reason why I am stuck is apparently Lawrence "ran off", Edith ended up in Prestwich Mental Hospital (as it was called then) and the children all ended up at Styal Orphanage. Nobody has a clue what happened to him.

Hope somebody can help.
