Maureen I think you have found the right marriage....Merthyr Tydfil.. the civil parish is Llanwonno

thank you both I dunno ant mary I did see that and the only name which looks to be in the family is a Diane but not untill a few generations down.

The marriage is great thank you I couldnt find that because I didnt know if they were from around there thats why the census would have come in handly.

Is there any more marriages between a David Owen/Owens and a Elizabeth Prichard?

Ooww and you Welsh geography is spot on it would have been the local records ofice at the time.

Hi all

could anyone look up an Elizabeth Owen/Owens in the 1871 census? I have got her birth certificate whcih states she was born 10 Nov 1866 in Mountain Ash, Llanwonno, Glamorgan, Wales. I have her parents as David Owen whos a coalminer and her mother was also Elizabeth Owen formerly Prichard. I was wondering if anyone could find them in the 1871 census? That is all I have got on her and the family sadly :(

I have searched and searched the records but have come up with nothing. any help would be fab.

I got her in the 1881 census where she is a servant at 47 Woodland Street, Mountain Ash.
